Location: Washington, DC (100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week)

Active Top Secret Security Clearance We are seeking a General Paralegal to provide litigation and legal support services within a federal environment in Washington, DC. This role supports attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including legal research, document drafting, case management, discovery support, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate possesses strong research and writing skills, experience within a legal environment, and the ability to work effectively in a secure, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal, factual, and background research to support ongoing matters. Draft legal memoranda, correspondence, reports, and other case-related documents. Organize, review, index, and maintain case files and legal records. Assist attorneys with litigation support activities, including pleadings, motions, and trial preparation. Review documents for responsiveness, relevance, and privilege. Support discovery activities and document production efforts. Track case deadlines and maintain document management systems. Coordinate with attorneys, government personnel, and stakeholders regarding case matters and legal processes. Assist with preparation of exhibits, evidence files, and supporting documentation for hearings and trials.
Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC, five days per week. Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.3+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation, investigations, legal review, or case management activities. Experience conducting legal research using tools such as Westlaw, Lexis Nexis, or similar research platforms. Strong legal writing, document drafting, and analytical skills. Experience reviewing, organizing, and maintaining legal case files and records. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting federal legal programs or government agencies. Experience handling sensitive, confidential, or classified information. Familiarity with federal court procedures and litigation processes. Prior Department of Justice (DOJ), federal agency, or government contractor experience. Experience supporting document review, investigations, or discovery projects.
