About the role
- Works independently to safely receive, pick, pack, unpack, and ship products based on company standards
- Perform all tasks with proper attention to safety procedures and conventions (e.g. use proper lifting techniques, maintain a safety zone around equipment, etc.)Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials
- Manages all merchandise with appropriate care
- May assist with training of newly employed team members
- Application of labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of all company's products and policies
- May perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to take initiative and quickly adapt to change
- Excellent time management and organization skills; meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals
- Ability to work positively and collaboratively with different groups within the company to advance the company's stability and growth
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment
- Skilled at communicating clearly both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
- Works in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled
- Standing, walking, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing for long periods
- Frequently lift or pull up to 40 pounds
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma required (or GED + warehouse work experience)0-3 years prior experience in warehouse or retail environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing
