About Relationspot Relationspot is a supportive, vibrant community for neurodivergent individuals, including thosewho are autistic, have ADHD, experience shyness and social anxiety, or have similarexperiences. At Relationspot, we curate weekly in-person and virtual events created with the ideas of ourmembers, offer live and recorded impactful community class series- including our dating classseries, and intro to money management - as well as 1:1 social coaching, and much more. Withactivities across NYC and Westchester, Relationspot is for neurodivergent adults to explore, connect, and belong. About Relationspot Coaches As a Facilitator/Coach for Relationspot, you’ll be a community champion, helping members ofthis neuro-inclusive group foster connections, build friendships, and boost social confidence! Your role involves hosting fun virtual meetups, leading in-person events, and providingsupportive social and dating coaching to help people interpret body language and maintain relationships. Think of yourself as a guide to making meaningful connections, all while being part of a diverse, welcoming community that celebrates everyone’s unique abilities! Requirements for Relationspot Coaches- Experience working with the neurodiverse community (individuals on the spectrum, with ADHD, social anxiety, and similar experiences)- Available to work on the weekends (about once a month) in NYC or Westchester, as well as on Friday night Zooms (about once a month)- Is supportive, empathetic, interested in working with neurodiverse community in socialsettings- Can facilitate events with enthusiasm, encourage engagement and independence at events- Very responsive to emails, communicative, proactive- Background in psychology, education, arts, theater a plusWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:Lead Virtual Meetups: Co-facilitate online group sessions that encourage socialinteraction and community building. Support Social Skills Development: Help members improve communication, interpret social cues, and navigate relationships. Create a Welcoming Environment: Ensure that all participants feel included andsupported. Be an Active Listener: Engage attentively with members to understand their needsand provide personalized feedback. Encourage Engagement: Motivate participants to build friendships and practice newsocial skills.*This is a very flexible role, with a minimum of coaching one in-person event and one virtual event per month, with the potential for growth and involvement in other areas of the company-- including doing 1:1 dating and social coaching, and leading our neuro-inclusive series on dating and money management. The role does require being responsive over email, and honoring all commitments to events. The starting rate for this position is $25/hour, with paid bimonthly trainings, and potential for growth.
