Job Description:
Job Description The Registered Nurse ICU will provide comprehensive nursing care in a mixed intensive care unit, supporting critically ill patients across day and night shifts. Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager, this role combines clinical expertise, timely intervention, patient advocacy, and collaboration with the care team to promote safe, effective outcomes.13 week Contracts with the option to extend
Days: 6 am - 630 pmNights: 630 pm - 6 amFast Hire/Onboarding Process
Start Monday 11/9 or sooner
Responsibilities:
Assess patients and monitor vital signs in the mixed ICU.Manage ventilators and support critical respiratory care.
Administer medications safely and accurately.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Advocate for patients and provide education to families.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications:
Two or more years of intensive care nursing experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience in critical care nursing, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management.
Proficiency with electronic health records and medication administration.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
