About the role
Specialty And Wound Therapy Equipment Delivery Deliver, pick-up and service specialty and wound therapy equipment (medical devices) for nursing homes and home care patients. Pick-ups and deliveries between warehouses in New York and Connecticut. Will assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse and equipment. Must be at least 21 years of age due to driving a company vehicle. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis, and requires significant walking, standing, pushing and pulling. High standards of accuracy Following established policies and procedures and completing required documentation Carrying out instructions carefully Requires high degree of information gathering before making decision Strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignments Trouble-shooting problems independently Being responsible for varied activities Developing friendly professional relations with others Cooperating with team or committee decisions Working at a consistent and steady pace and Maintaining continuity of normal work flow despite interruptions Doing work which requires manual dexterity Meeting deadlines Working in a neat, organized manner Providing helpful services to others Organizational skills High School Diploma Excellent driving record Drivers License Ability to work independently and as part of a team Clean cut and professional looking at all times Ability to be flexible with hours worked Good communication skills (verbal and written) Good organizational skills Ability to provide excellent customer service Must have the strength to place and service equipment up to 40 lbs.
