About the role

Role Overview: Our client is seeking Trade Reconciliation / Remediation Analysts to support a regulatory-driven remediation initiative focused on trade-level reconciliation. Analysts will review historical trades, identify discrepancies, research the underlying cause, and work with Middle Office partners to resolve issues. This role is well suited for professionals with Capital Markets, Derivatives, Collateral, or Middle Office experience who can quickly understand trade lifecycles and investigate discrepancies rather than simply perform repetitive reconciliation tasks. Contract: 9–12 months, with potential for extension/conversion Start: Early November 2026
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday; approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PMHybrid: 3 days/week onsite; first month may require 5 days/week onsite for training
Key Responsibilities: Perform trade-level and portfolio reconciliation across historical transactions. Review trades and investigate discrepancies between internal records and counterparty data. Work backward through the trade lifecycle to determine the root cause of reconciliation breaks. Research issues related to trade economics, collateral, FX, curve/discounting, and other transaction attributes. Partner with Middle Office and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Review historical transactions to identify errors, including potential incorrect charges or cost allocations. Utilize Tri Optima, Excel, email, and internal systems to perform research and document findings. Maintain accurate documentation of reconciliation findings and remediation activity. Participate in structured training and ramp-up on existing processes, tools, and remediation procedures.
Required Qualifications: Prior experience in financial services, Capital Markets, Middle Office, Trade Operations, Reconciliation, or a related function. Understanding of trade lifecycles and financial transactions. Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify the why behind a discrepancy. Experience working with Excel and large sets of financial/trade data. Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly and operate effectively in a structured remediation environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work through complex historical transactions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with derivatives and derivative trade lifecycles. Experience in Collateral, Middle Office, or Trade Operations. Experience with Tri Optima or similar reconciliation platforms. Knowledge of FX, curve/discounting, collateral, or other trade economics. Previous experience supporting regulatory remediation, audit, reconciliation, or issue resolution. Capital Markets experience is strongly preferred; candidates from broader Finance backgrounds may be considered if they demonstrate strong analytical and transactional experience.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate can be productive quickly and does not require extensive foundational training in financial markets. Candidates should be able to look at a trade discrepancy and think critically about what changed, where the break occurred, and why the records do not match. This is an investigative/remediation role rather than a highly repetitive processing position. Candidates with experience in Derivatives, Collateral, Middle Office, Trade Operations, or Capital Markets are particularly well aligned.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
