As a Data Entry Specialist, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes by helping a growing sales team maintain a clean, accurate, and reliable database.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, technology, and detailed projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms like Outreach and ZoomInfo while learning how high-quality data supports successful sales and business development efforts.ResponsibilitiesReview, identify, merge, and remove duplicate contact and company records within Outreach.Clean up duplicate accounts and records created through ZoomInfo imports using established prioritization guidelines.Validate and update contact information, including email addresses, phone numbers, job titles, and company details.Identify and remove outdated, inactive, bounced, or otherwise invalid records.Research and add missing information to existing contact and company records.Monitor email bounce rates in Outreach and flag potential deliverability issues.Add and maintain a new “Natural Name” field within account profiles.Track and report progress on database cleanup projects regularly.Follow established processes and maintain a high level of accuracy while working with large amounts of data.Work independently and stay focused on repetitive, detail-heavy projects.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; current students nearing graduation may also be considered.Ability to commit for the duration of the role - approximately 2-3 months.Previous experience working with a CRM, sales database, or sales engagement platform strongly preferred.Experience with Outreach, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable working with large datasets and performing repetitive, meticulous work.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and stay focused in a heads-down, project-based environment.Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Previous remote work experience is preferred.
