About the role
Distribution Team LeadThe Distribution Team Lead assists the DC Supervisor in meeting daily productivity requirements. Prepare majority of pick and pack orders for shipment using electronic radio frequency scanner. Awareness of incoming product and availability. Communicate with supervisor/case pick material handler for product needs and quality issues. Follow shipping instructions as directed. Assist with other areas of Distribution and other duties as assigned. Product recognition, involving accurate matching of product codes. Must be certified and operate a stand-up lift/forklift. Must be able to work overtime as required. Strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills. Strong attention to detail, good working knowledge of operations within the department. Ability to use RF Scanners. Previous experience operating power equipment such as forklift or rider jack. Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, sit, walk long distances, push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, read and write. Must have history of excellent attendance and workplace safety. Must have high school diploma plus 1-2 years prior experience with team lead responsibilities and ability to work well with other team members. First shift 6 am to 2 pm, with required ability to work overtime and occasional weekend hours.
