About the role

Company Description: Premier Construction Inc. is a New York City–based general contractor specializing in interior construction, building envelope work, façade restoration, roofing, masonry, and asbestos and lead abatement.
Role Description: The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Queens, NY. Premier Construction is hiring an Interiors Project Manager with 3–5 years of construction PM experience on projects in NYC’s five boroughs. You’ll run interior work from planning through closeout, coordinating crews and subcontractors, tracking schedule and cost, managing RFIs and submittals, and resolving field issues before they delay the job. We’re looking for someone proactive, resourceful, organized, and clear with clients, field teams, and management. You should take ownership, follow through, document decisions, and treat safety and quality as daily responsibilities.
Qualifications: 3–5 years of construction project management experience on projects physically located within NYC’s five boroughs, including direct responsibility for interior renovations or build-outs. Experience coordinating multiple trades, field crews, subcontractors, and work in occupied buildings. Ability to read drawings and specifications, develop schedules, track budgets and production, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout. Working knowledge of NYC construction permits, inspections, and jobsite safety requirements. Strong written and verbal communication with clients, consultants, field teams, and management. Proactive, resourceful, and organized, with the ability to identify issues early, make a plan, and follow through. Available for regular site visits across all five boroughs.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
