Course: Biblical and Theological Apologetics. This course introduces students to essential biblical, theological, and methodological issues in Christian apologetics. It examines major apologetic arguments and strategies utilized to support and defend the Christian faith. Various apologetic methods are considered, as well as practical issues concerned with being an effective apologist.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
What You Will Bring:
Masters in Apologetics or Masters in Philosophy (PhD preferred) or Master of Divinity with coursework in apologetics or philosophy from an accredited college or university AND 2 or more years of professional experience teaching apologetics, philosophy or ethics at the postsecondary level.
