About the role

White Rhino Coffee Barista Position Baristas provide White Rhino Coffee guests with an unparalleled guest experience. They are the hosts of the café and perform every task with top quality. Daily Tasks and Projects: First point of customer service, greeting and serving customers with a standard of excellence Operate all barista station including bar, bar-back and POS Maintain bar and café cleanliness Exhibit strong knowledge of our beverage and food menu Create coffee, tea, and other beverages to order, as well as pastry and Quick Bites items with attention to detail and consistency Job Qualifications: Minimum 17 years of age Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week Ability to attend every monthly staff meeting Ability to comply to punctuality and performance standards Required Education, Certification, or Experience: Food handler certification (completed within 30 days of hire) Previous barista experience a plus, but not required All Baristas are required to complete 100% of our POS and Barista training within 30 days of hire date Compensation and Benefits: $11.50 - $15.50 per hour including tips, based on experience 401k and Telehealth (including mental health) after 6-month employment Opportunity to participate in additional company benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.) if 30 hr average over 6-month employment Bonuses and raises available, based on meeting performance goals Reports to: White Rhino Store Manager FLSA status: Non-exempt
