About the role

Overview: We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join a rapidly growing manufacturing organization and help launch a new greenfield manufacturing facility in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is an opportunity to join a new site during production startup and help establish quality processes from the ground up, with strong opportunities for growth and advancement.
Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain quality processes, PFMEAs, control plans, and quality documentation. Monitor process capability and production data to identify quality and process improvement opportunities. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues. Utilize quality tools including FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, 8D, and other problem-solving methodologies. Support ISO 9001 compliance, internal audits, and quality documentation. Partner with Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to improve product and process quality. Support the startup and production ramp-up of a new manufacturing facility.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, plant quality, or continuous improvement. Experience with PFMEA/FMEA, root cause analysis, CAPA, and process capability. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing. Experience with SPC, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar quality methodologies preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Manufacturing experience in materials, fiberglass, asphalt, roofing, or a related industry is preferred but not required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced greenfield manufacturing environment during facility startup.
