What You Will Be Doing:
You will join a growing, founder-led software company in St. Louis, taking a hands‑on leadership role in its finance operations. Working directly with the CFO, you'll oversee financial reporting, guide the accounting team, and contribute to important financial and business decisions as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial closing processes and ensure accurate GAAP financial reporting.
Lead the accounting team and improve day‑to‑day financial operations.
Collaborate with the CFO on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Manage annual audits, strengthen internal controls, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
CPA license and a solid background in public accounting and auditing.
Experience overseeing financial reporting and month‑end closing activities.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting operations.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands‑on leadership style.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Background in software, SaaS, or a growing technology company.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
Previous experience with a Big Four accounting firm.
