About the Role: We are seeking an Optician I (HSPP) for 2nd Shift to support our programs. These operators will play a key role in expanding capacity on both existing and new equipment, ensuring production goals are met with precision and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Basic computer skills for data entry and process documentation
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with High-Speed Polishing Processes (HSPP)Familiarity with precision optical components and coatings Previous experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Responsibilities: Operate and maintain high-speed polishing equipment for optical components Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards Perform inspections and measurements to verify component accuracy Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and optimize processes Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used For California, the hourly rate for this position is: $16.07-$27.48 (plus shift premium) Please note this range is provided as a general guideline.
