Job Details: Compensation Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $23 hour. Employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and employees accrue up to a maximum of 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year. SUMMARY: The Lobby Ambassador is responsible for welcoming and greeting hotel guests and patrons to the hotel in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. This role collaborates directly with the front office to ensure an engaging and hospitable environment for all hotel guests and visitors. The work schedule for this position varies based on business needs and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a professional, welcoming presence at hotel entrance and public areas ensuring high-level customer service. 65% Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns in public areas. 5% Perform additional duties as assigned by management. 10% Assist the front desk with line management. 20%
QUALIFICATIONS: Education High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Licensure, Certification, etc. N/A Work Experience Hospitality experience and/or customer/guest service experience preferred. Related guest service experience and/or training; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices in the hospitality industry. Ability to read and write standard English. Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Experience handling and de-escalating guest concerns effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in basic computer operations and hotel management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff and VIP clients. SCOPE Authority to Act Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions given and work is checked or verified on a frequent basis. Decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of a routine nature made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies and procedures. Mistakes/errors may result in work stoppage, loss of business, poor customer relations and/or damage to product, all of which can have negative financial implications for the organization. Performs duties with little direction given, operating from established directions and instructions. Decisions are made within general Towne Park policy constraints but occasionally require independent decision making.
