Qualifications:
  • Central Supply experience preferred
  • Serious applicants
  • Previous LTC/SNF experience Compassionate working with the geriatric population
  • Oversees the daily operations of the Medical Records Department
Abstracting, analyzing, auditing, and coding of all medical records in a timely manner. Oversees the release of medical record information, archiving/storage of medical records, and the transcription/dictation processing. Collects and analyzes data for quality improvement. Completes quarterly performance improvement reports in a timely manner. Suggests changes to Medical Record policies and procedures. Functions as a member on assigned committees. Works closely with nursing, social work, and finance to ensure PPS compliance and unit profitability.
