About the role
MUST HAVE5-10 years of CAD design experience in engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Micro Station. PLUSSES:Experience with AutoCAD 3D.Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related technical discipline. DAY TO DAY:Insight Global is seeking a CAD Operator in the Charlotte, NC area. Transforms preliminary engineering and product designs into detailed construction and engineering documents using CAD software. Develops, modifies, and reviews drawings to ensure compliance with established specifications, standards, and design requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, revise, and maintain detailed engineering and design drawings.
Ensure designs adhere to company, industry, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve design issues and incorporate revisions.
Perform quality reviews of drawings and documentation.
Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and quality expectations.
May lead design efforts and provide technical direction to other designers
