Qualifications:
Master's or Ed. S. degree in School Psychology required. Meet the requirements, at a minimum, under R380.20I et seq for a preliminary School Psychologist certificate as outlined by the Michigan State Department of Education. Pay$58.00-$62.00 per hour$2,320-$2,480 per week
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, emotional or behavioral disorders, and giftedness. Provide individual or group counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, anger, and peer relationships. Recommend evidence-based interventions to improve academic performance. Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).Collaborate with parents to support students at home and school.
