Job Description: Material Handler | Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: $15.50/hour
Eligible for a raise upon permanent hire.
Schedule: Monday-Friday6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 9:00 PMTraining will be conducted on the 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM shift Consistent 40-hour work week with limited overtime
Start Date: Potential to start as early as next week
Job Duties:
  • Prepare and mask surfaces before coating
  • Use hand and power tools, including sanders, drills, and impact wrenches
  • Hang parts for blasting, painting, and powder coating
  • Move materials between workstations
  • Package finished products for delivery or pickup
  • Organize and safely store materials
  • Read and follow work orders
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Assist with other production tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable wearing PPEReliable and team-oriented
  • Able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
