About the role
Responsibilities
The PICO MR team is dedicated to developing core environmental perception algorithms for the PICO system. The team focuses on visual localization, scene perception, and 3D reconstruction. We research, explore, and deploy technologies such as multimodal scene perception (MLLMs), AIGC scene generation, depth estimation (Mono/Stereo/MVS), 3D environmental perception, 3D scene reconstruction (3DGS, NeRF, etc.), visual localization, and lighting estimation for MR scenarios.
We are looking for talented individuals to join our team in 2026. Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of year 2026.
Participate in R&D of video generation and 3D algorithms, and promote their deployment in MR application scenarios.
Improve the efficiency of generative models (e.g., enhance performance upper limits, accelerate inference speed, reduce costs, increase resolution).
Qualifications
Completely or recently completed a PhD degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Excellent programming skills; proficient in Python, C/C++ and common deep learning frameworks.
Solid algorithm foundation in AIGC/3D vision; project experience in AIGC generation.
Thorough understanding of latest advances in video/image generation. Preferred experience in any of: video generation (long video/HD video), video editing (inpainting/outpainting/enhancement), 3D/4D novel view synthesis, video depth estimation.
Proficiency in 3D representation/rendering models (NeRF, 3DGS); preference for familiarity with 4DGS solutions.
Preference for publications in accredited conferences/journals (computer vision/graphics/machine learning).
Job Information – Compensation and Benefits

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
