Senior Financial Analyst
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business analysis across its Latin American operations. Working closely with the Finance Manager, this individual will help consolidate forecasts, evaluate financial performance, and develop reporting tools that support management decisions. The role also contributes to financial systems improvements, reporting automation, and the integration of new businesses and joint ventures into established financial processes.
Key Responsibilities: Support budgeting and forecasting activities by consolidating financial information and evaluating assumptions across business units. Develop and maintain financial models for operational planning, management reporting, and strategic analysis. Evaluate monthly and quarterly results against forecasts, budgets, and prior-year performance, providing clear explanations of key variances. Create dashboards and automated reports that give leadership visibility into financial performance and key business metrics. Assist with the implementation and enhancement of financial planning and reporting systems, including One Stream. Collaborate with accounting teams to validate financial data, review adjustments, and ensure consistency between reporting and forecasting. Review financial processes and controls, document findings, and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Support due diligence and onboarding for new businesses and joint ventures, including assessing workflows and financial data integration needs. Prepare presentations and ad hoc analyses for senior finance leadership.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required. Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, including GAAP.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience with business intelligence tools, including Power BI, and familiarity with financial planning software implementations. Proficiency in Power Point and experience working with Oracle, SAP, or comparable ERP systems. Ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across business units. Flexibility to accommodate changing workloads and reporting deadlines. Fluency in English and Spanish required.
