Maintenance Tech I Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician ensures the safety, functionality, and comfort of healthcare and residential facilities. This role supports operational continuity and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to unanticipated facility needs to minimize risk and service disruption.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, systems, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across multiple disciplines
- Maintain inventory and documentation of parts and repairs
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies
- Attend training sessions Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma or GEDValid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective communication with coworkers, residents, families, and contractors
