Student Experience SpecialistJoin the CST TeamAt Collaborative Student Transportation (CST), we know how important the first few months of school arefor students, families, and the teams behind the scenes. That's why we're looking for support to help us during our busiest seasons and beyond. If you're highly organized, customer-focused, and ready to jump in and help students get to school safely and on time, we'd love to have you join us.This is a remote role. This position is intended to support our 2:00 PM8:00 PM Pacific Time shift. Candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish and located in Arizona or Washington are strongly encouraged to apply.What You'll DoAs a Student Experience Specialist, you'll provide vital front-line support to students, families, schools, and districts. You'll respond to inquiries, manage daily communication tools, and keep transportation requests moving smoothly. From handling emails and calls to assisting in emergency situations, you'll be a key part of CST's mission to provide safe, efficient, and student-centered service.ResponsibilitiesCommunication & Customer Support Respond to emails, phone calls, and Slack messages in a timely, professional mannerProvide helpful and compassionate support to students, families, schools, and district partnersEscalate serious issues to Leads and Managers as neededMonitor and respond to emails in the shared transportation inboxKeep inboxes clearaiming for zero by end of dayCollaborate with team members to resolve service concerns quickly and thoughtfullyProvide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to students, families, schools, and district partners as needed.Operational Execution Follow daily task checklists and CST processes with accuracyManage and delegate shared inbox tasksComplete and update assigned tasks in AsanaReport 3-day no-shows and execute radio checks as neededMove new requests, changes, and cancellations to the correct routing boardsSupport accident reporting and emergency identificationProactively communicate when email or Slack backlogs occurProfessionalism & Teamwork Build strong relationships with district staff, contractors, and school personnelKeep Leads and Managers informed of important or unusual updatesPerform additional related duties as assignedWho You AreOrganized, dependable, and detail-orientedA confident communicator who can manage both urgent situations and routine updatesExperienced in customer service and comfortable with remote work tools (email, Slack, etc.)Able to work independently while staying connected to a remote teamReliable and ready to support students during a busy time of yearEducation & QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)Excellent time management and inbox organization skillsPrevious experience in customer-facing roles preferredMust have access to a reliable computer and internet Technology is not provided for this roleMust successfully complete a background and reference checkCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: $18-20 per hour (based on experience)Type: Full-time or part-time schedule availableSchedule: Monday Friday2:00 PM 8:00 PM Pacific TimeNo weekends4 8-hour shiftLocation: Remote (Arizona and Washington candidates strongly preferred)We're Student-CenteredAt CST, we come together from all kinds of backgrounds, but what unites us is our commitment to students.
