About the role

Manual Assembly / Soldering & Housing [MASH] - Electronics Assembler The Manual Assembly / Soldering & Housing [MASH] - Electronics Assembler will be a technical resource responsible for assembling miniature printed circuit assemblies, setting up auto assembly machines and operating computerized test systems. Additionally, the electronics assembler will perform visual quality assurance of assemblies completed in the auto assembly process.

Location: Rapid City, SDFull-Time Position

Hours: Monday-Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm); voluntary OT is sometimes available

Job Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' electronics assembly experience hand soldering miniature electronics components. Further qualifications include: Ability to solder high density miniature circuits under a microscope @ 10x read and understand assembly instructions Ability to perform miniature detailed assembly work Inspect electronics assemblies Practical understanding of electronic components Troubleshoot products in manufacturing Ability to work with a microscope and various assembly tools Desire to work Be punctual and reliable. Working knowledge of IPC-Standards expected but not required. IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic AssembliesJ-STD-001 Soldering Standard. IPC-A-WHMA-620 Wire Harness Assembly Manual Dexterity Evaluation: As part of the hiring process, you will be required to perform a Manual Dexterity Evaluation to assess the ability to perform the previously stated Job basic tasks and abilities are: Be able to manually solder under the microscope [10X magnification], Qty=2 units [a SMT IMU cube assembly and thru-hole assembly component. Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Other Desired Qualifications or Experience.
