Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer | New York, NYLawrence Harvey has been engaged by a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of advertising, search, and machine learning on a position that is critical to the continued development of its ML capabilities. They are looking for a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer who will own machine learning problems end-to-end, from developing and evaluating models through productionization, deployment, and ongoing improvement. The team is working across areas including ranking, prediction, pricing, and advertiser performance, with a major focus on building toward real-time model serving and decision-making. The successful candidate will be joining a highly technical ML team where engineers have broad ownership across both model development and production software. You will have the opportunity to build new capabilities from scratch and solve ML problems where predictions directly influence real-world product and business outcomes. This is an opportunity to join a growing, engineering-driven organization in a role that offers significant technical ownership, challenging production ML problems, and the ability to directly influence how the company's machine learning systems evolve. The Ideal Candidate has:• Strong Machine Learning Engineering or Software Engineering experience with hands-on ownership of developing and deploying production ML models.• Strong Python experience and the ability to build production-quality software, with exposure to technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Kubernetes, and real-time model serving environments.• Experience working on recommendation systems, ranking, search, personalization, NLP, deep learning, real-time prediction, or other ML problems where models directly influence production decisions.• Experience taking ML systems from development through production, ideally within a startup or high-ownership engineering environment.
