The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. Job Overview: As a Customer Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing computer and user support, including installation and configuration of hardware and software, troubleshooting, and maintaining audio-visual and video conference equipment. You will also perform basic network and telephony support, with occasional travel between FDOT locations.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the installation, maintenance, and technical support of workstation hardware. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10 or above operating systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing a ladder and stooping. Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM & 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Preferences: Technical certifications from workstation training programs such as CompTIA A+ and Network+.Associate degree in Information Technology or related field. Experience in customer service and technical support roles.
