About the role

Opto/Mechanical Technician As an Opto/Mechanical Technician at MKS, you will be responsible for the assembly of optical systems. You Will Make an Impact By: Audit 1-2 work order kits from warehouse to confirm pieces and part numbers Prepare subassembly components Follow written procedures or drawings Assemble and debug systems incorporating optical, mechanical, and electronic components Test each level of assembly (4-5 processes) at the system level using laboratory instruments Alignment, optimization, stability, transmission, etc. Package the final assembly daily (if assembly is completed) Cross training is required (trainee and/or trainer) Skills You Bring:0-2 years of related experience for Level 12-3 years of related experience for Level 2The ability to work in a clean room environment Experience entering data numbers into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets templates The ability to speak, read, and write in English
Compensation and Benefits: Hourly Pay Range: $17.02 - 31.56 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
