The successful candidate will be responsible for the overarching strategy and execution of data, analytics, and research IT initiatives, driving the modernization of data engineering and advanced analytics capabilities. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between raw data and actionable intelligence, establishing robust governance frameworks, and supporting world-class research and clinical operations. The CDAO will also define and champion strong data management and governance frameworks, enabling reliable access to trusted data, and will be instrumental in the establishment of an enterprise-wide Advanced Analytics Program, with a focus on machine learning, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence. Applicants for the CDAO position at the company should be principled, mission-oriented executives with a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide data functions, preferably within a large and complex organization. The role requires a leader who can combine strategic insight with operational rigor, and who is adept at influencing and guiding stakeholders to leverage data effectively.
