About the role
12-month contract w/ extensions / conversion The role is 2 days onsite and 3 days fully remote. Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager for an end client in West Nyack, NY that will oversee the planning, execution, financial management, and delivery of complex capital projects and programs from initiation to closeout depending on the project assignment. The role is 2 days onsite and 3 days fully remote. This individual will be responsible for managing project scope, forecasts, reports, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder communication while ensuring project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget. The role requires strong budget oversight, cost forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, construction manager, and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. They will monitor project performance, resolve issues, manage change requests, and provide executive-level status updates and reporting. The ideal candidate has experience leading large-scale construction, utility, engineering, infrastructure, or capital projects and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of Project Management experience overseeing capital, construction, engineering, utility, or large infrastructure projects
- Bachelor’s DegreeStrong project accounting and financial management experience, including budget ownership, cost controls, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis
- Experience managing projects/programs ranging from $1 million several millions
- Proven ability to manage project scope, budget, forecasts, reporting, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Collaboration with other internal teams such as finance, supply chain, procurement, contractors, construction, and engineering groups
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management and project governance processes
- Experience utilizing a project management system
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and project reporting skills
