About the role
Test Technician We are seeking a motivated Test Technician with 1–2+ years of hands-on experience to join our team in the Armada, MI area. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and/or experience testing automotive components who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in building and assembling basic lab apparatus and test equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
Perform laboratory tests and measurements of automotive components using proper instrumentation and procedures.
Prepare, set up, and execute tests according to established protocols, ensuring accurate and reliable
a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and test area, following all safety guidelines.
Document test results clearly and communicate findings in a professional manner.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on technical skills.
Ability to quickly grasp testing principles and apply them effectively.
Proficient with computers; comfortable learning new test software and data systems.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required; Associate degree, Trade School Certificate, or equivalent training strongly preferred. Prior automotive testing or component-level testing experience preferred.
