About the role
Join Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and the City of Indianapolis' Department of Business & Neighborhood Services (BNS) as part of our co-led monthly cleanup series to help tackle litter in the Christian Park neighborhood! Picking up litter beautifies our city while protecting our local ecosystems, including our soil, waterways, plants, and wildlife, from pollution. Litter prevention is one of the easiest things we can do to keep our city clean, but it takes all of us doing our part! Safety: We highly recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, long pants, and close-toed shoes. We always recommend bringing a reusable bottle of water but we will have disposable cups available if needed. KIB and BNS will provide all supplies, such as litter grabbers, gloves, and trash bags. Parking + Meeting Location+ Facilities: Parking will be available at Clayton and LaSalle Park, located at 401 S Lasalle St. A portalette will be available for use. Transportation Information: Click here to plan your trip with Indy Go! While we love group attendance at volunteer projects, all participants in a group must be registered individually.?If you should need to cancel your registration for any reason, please use this link. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
