About the role

The Head of International Trade Compliance oversees international trade compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements.
Responsibilities: Development and implementation of regional logistic strategies: Definition of strategies in accordance with agreed service levels, define service levels with internal customers, define country targets and budgets to manage/monitor implementation of strategies focused around the International Logistics functions. Increase Efficiency: Develop new approaches in the market to enable more efficient and lean processes with service providers and internal customers. Performance management of service providers: Definition and monitoring of KPIs, performance dialog with the partners, escalation in case of nonperformance, counterpart for internal organization in case of recurring issues with service providers. Trade: Work with all levels of the organization to ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations. Staff Leadership: Provide management and guidance to assigned employees within the logistics function, oversee the daily operations of the import/export teams.
Requirements: At least 5 years in international logistics, with progressive experience, including managing import/export operations and external service providers At least 2 years in international procurement Knowledge of international trade laws, regulations, and best practices. Working knowledge of SAPStrong negotiation, problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Knowledge of Lean Sigma preferred Fluency in English required, additional languages preferred
