About the role
- Coordinate and schedule residential and commercial real estate closings with clients, attorneys, lenders, and internal teams
- Review and prepare closing packages, title policies, and related documentation
- Coordinate with Clearance Officers to confirm all closing requirements have been satisfied, including cleared title, payoff information, escrow requirements, and other outstanding items
- Communicate with all parties throughout the closing process to help ensure timely and seamless closings
- Track closing status, deadlines, and outstanding requirements
- Update internal systems and maintain accurate closing records
- Follow up on post-closing items and assist with resolving outstanding issues
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the closing and clearance teams
- What You Bring 3+ years of experience in a title company, real estate closing, or similar role
- Strong understanding of New York title insurance and real estate closing procedures
- Experience coordinating multiple closings and managing competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing or outstanding requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, lenders, clients, and internal teams
- Proficiency with title production or closing systems; Tracker
- Pro experience is a plus
- Residential and/or commercial closing experience; experience with both is a plus
- Prior experience working for a title company is strongly preferred
- On-site location: Long Island, NYCompetitive salary: $55,000$75,000, based on experience
