Description: Keep the Cheetah Clean running! We're a fast-growing car wash company with 16 locations across Kentucky and Tennessee, looking for a Director of Maintenance to lead the team that keeps every tunnel moving. If you'd rather fix a problem for good than fix it twice, this is your seat.
What You'll Do: (and LOVE Doing)Lead the Crew: Build, coach, and lead our maintenance team across all 16 sites, setting the standard for fast, quality work. Own Uptime: Troubleshoot and repair tunnels, conveyors, dryers, pumps, water reclaim, chemical systems, and PLCs. Get Ahead of It: Build a preventive maintenance program that catches problems before our customers ever notice. Run It Like a Business: Manage the maintenance budget, vendors, and parts inventory, and make the case for smart equipment investments. Grow With Us: Help plan and commission new sites, remodels, and equipment installs as we expand. Keep It Safe: Champion lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA compliance across every location.
Requirements: What Makes You the Perfect Fit Experienced: 7+ years in maintenance, including 3+ years leading a team in a multi-site, industrial, or facilities setting. Hands-On Technical Pro: Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills; PLC experience is a big plus. Car Wash Savvy: Tunnel, water reclaim, and chemical system experience puts you at the front of the line. Organized Under Pressure: You can juggle priorities across multiple sites and stay calm when a tunnel goes down on a busy Saturday. Road Ready: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and happy to travel across Kentucky and Tennessee.
