1. Coordinates the school's sports medicine service for home and "away" athletic events. 2. Serves as liaison among the athlete, his parents, the coach and the consulting physician in matters relative to the prevention, care and management of athletic injuries .. Coordinates with team physicians and the district office for football game coverage and physical screening examination for all student-athletes .. Coordinates with team physicians and area sports medicine clinics for evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation of injured athletes, and recertification of athletes for re-entry into practice and/or game participation ..
