About the role
Valkyrie Trading is a fast-growing boutique options market-making firm. We are seeking an experienced index options trader with a demonstrated history of success in market-making and risk management. You’ll have several years of experience trading a major American or European equity index, and you’ll bring strong market intuition in the index options space, quantitative rigor, and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate with our index options team. In this role you will be responsible for all risk and PnL, and you’ll leverage your experience and knowledge in making critical decisions in real-time.
What You’ll Need:
3+ years index options trading experience on a major American or European index 3+ years with responsibility for PnL and risk 3+ years operating electronic market-making softwareA robust ability to manage and assess risk in a derivatives portfolioA passion for trading and financial markets Strong math and numerical aptitude Relentless desire to constantly improveA desire to develop and innovate the strategies and models that drive our trading activitiesA tenacious determination to problem solve Entrepreneurial spiritA keen attention to detail Willingness to dig into problems Proactive attitude
