About the role

The Export & Customs Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. and international export regulations while managing the timely movement of goods through global supply chains. This role develops a thorough understanding of customer shipping requirements, export documentation, customs clearance procedures, and transportation methods to support efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong regulatory knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all applicable export regulations and customs requirements by reviewing and processing export documentation, filings, and customs clearances. Verify that all shipment documentation is complete, accurate, and distributed to carriers, freight forwarders, customers, and international agents in a timely manner. Prepare and submit export filings and required regulatory documentation while tracking key shipment milestones, including departures, arrivals, customs releases, and proof of delivery. Bachelor's degree required; degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
