About the role
Responsibilities:
Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring an experienced Rigger to join our field team on an active power plant construction project in Carrollton, GA. If you're a certified rigger with hoisting and crane-signal experience, this is a strong opportunity with a top-ranked industrial general contractor.
About the Role:
As a Rigger, you'll set up hoisting equipment, secure materials, and coordinate with crane operators to safely move and place equipment and materials throughout the project site. Rigger Job Responsibilitiesp]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Determine and set up hoisting equipment to be moved by lift p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Secure materials following safety protocol p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Signal to operator where to place equipment and materials throughout the project site p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Understand weight limits of chokers, shackles, pulleys, winches, blocks, sheaves, and cables p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Know crane signals and follow all applicable safety codes p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Follow oral and written directions p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Position requires long periods of walking or standing p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects (Note: this job description may not include all duties required of the role.)

Qualifications & Experience:
