About the role

The Foundry | New York, NYThe Foundry is looking for an outgoing, ambitious Marketing & Communications Assistant to join our growing NYC team. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll help represent brands, communicate with customers, support marketing campaigns, and learn how great customer experiences turn into real business growth. We like people with personality. People who communicate well, bring energy to a room, and would rather learn by doing than spend all day watching from the sidelines.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting face-to-face marketing and customer engagement campaigns
  • Communicating brand messages clearly and confidently
  • Building relationships with customers and potential clients
  • Working alongside an energetic, collaborative team
  • Developing skills across communication, marketing, sales and leadership
No specific industry experience is required. We’re more interested in attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn. If you’re ambitious, personable and looking for a role where no two days feel exactly the same, we’d like to meet you.
Please note: This is a full-time, in-person position based in New York City and is not a remote or hybrid role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment is subject to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. The Foundry is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants without regard to protected characteristics under applicable law.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
