About the role
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for digital marketing touchpoints including paid ads, emails, product descriptions, and social media.
- Assist with note taking and documentation to help the copy team stay aligned on feedback
- Support the creation of product copy across all ALO categories, maintaining consistency and tone of voice.
- Contribute to SMS campaigns, seasonal launches, and evergreen brand messaging under the guidance of senior team members.
- Brainstorm and write longform editorial content for digital and print.
- Interpret creative direction from briefs into copy that converts.
- Help proofread and edit copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Be open to feedback and eager to improve writing skills through mentorship and collaboration.
- Stay up to date with copy trends and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field0–2 years of copywriting experience or relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for brand storytelling and crafting the perfect line
- Works well in a collaborative environment
- Multitasking, proofreading, time management, and organization skills
- Flexibility to switch focus between multiple projects
