About the role
- Manage full-cycle payroll: process payroll accurately/on time, issue payments, and handle adjustments, voids, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations; maintain knowledge of key laws (ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA, etc.)Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, leave), including onboarding, open enrollment, and ongoing employee support
- Lead 401(k) administration: coordinate committee materials, manage audits, and work with advisors/recordkeepers
- Oversee leave management, workers' compensation claims, and coordination with third-party vendors
- Audit and analyze payroll/benefits data, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership
- Manage vendor relationships, reconcile invoices, and ensure accurate, timely payments
- Conduct compliance reporting and audits; recommend process improvements based on findings
- Support HR functions including new hire training and employee communications on benefits
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with benefits administration, Human Resources, or a similar role.
- SHRM Certification preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (specifically excel).Candidate must have excellent communication skills in English (read, write, and speak).Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have or be able to obtain Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances.
- Must have a valid PA driver's license
