Job Description Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new customers, retail channels, and business opportunities outside Sunshine Outdoors' existing business. Build relationships with new buyers and decision-makers and secure customer meetings. Research prospective retailers to identify assortment gaps, product opportunities, pricing, and competitive trends. Lead new-business presentations, product proposals, quotations, and negotiations. Partner with U.S. and overseas teams to develop customer-specific products, pricing, samples, packaging, and programs. Manage opportunities from initial contact through product development, negotiation, and purchase order. Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to generate new leads. Maintain and report a new-business pipeline, including opportunity value, status, next steps, and expected timing. Transition established new business to the appropriate Account Manager for ongoing management. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within consumer products or retail. Proven ability to develop new customers and win new business. Experience working with major U.S. retailers; established buyer relationships preferred. Experience in outdoor, sporting goods, furniture, seasonal, or general merchandise preferred. Strong understanding of retail pricing, product development, and customer presentations. Experience working with overseas teams or factories preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to independently manage a new-business pipeline. Ability to travel as needed.
