About the role
Essential Roles & Responsibilities: Estimate projects and deliver proposals on-time and in good order. On-board working foreman to the project, including detailed information on project constraints, estimate, cost codes, Owner information, and schedule. Liaison between Owner/Design Team and Subcontractors. Ensures and confirms trade SOW are clear and accurate. Forecast project profit accurately and regularly throughout project. Coordinate directly with superintendents on manpower needs, SOWs and sequences of work. Produce clear and reliable base line schedules. Oversees APM/Foreman regular updates. Administer contract obligations (owners' and subs') Ensure subcontractor submittals are in compliance with contract documents and subcontract agreement. Provide field managers with up-to-date, accurate construction documents and submittals for their use in the field. Purchase materials and/or coordinate same with field managers for self-perform work. Prepare agenda and review APM documents for regular project team meetings. Schedule and manage regular field meetings with field managers and subcontractors. Oversee project close-out to ensure all obligations to client are delivered in a timely manner. Maintain organized project files in company network. Ensure subcontractors are paid on time for monies earned. Assist in the development of APMs and Foreman. Business development to bring in new clients and projects. Required Skills: Proficient in computers and various software programs Strong ability to estimate and review proposals/change orders Strong knowledge of construction means and methods Strong ability to develop logic schedules in Microsoft Project Strong verbal and written communication Ability and commitment to solving problems Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 10 - 15 years Salary: $105,000 - $128,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
