Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Chief People Officer on behalf of our client, a private equity-backed industrial manufacturing company experiencing significant growth and transformation. This executive leadership role serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors while developing and executing a people strategy that drives business performance, operational excellence, and long-term enterprise value. The Chief People Officer will lead all aspects of the organization's human capital strategy, supporting organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, leadership development, and organizational scalability. The ideal candidate brings extensive executive HR leadership experience within private equity-backed manufacturing organizations and is equally effective influencing boardroom strategy and engaging employees across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors on all human capital initiatives. Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and value creation plan. Lead organizational design initiatives that improve scalability, accountability, and operational effectiveness. Drive executive succession planning and leadership development across the organization. Partner with executive leadership to support growth and operational performance initiatives. Lead human capital due diligence, workforce integration, and organizational planning for acquisitions. Develop competitive compensation, incentive, and rewards programs aligned with business performance and investor objectives. Present workforce analytics, talent metrics, and organizational health updates to executive leadership and investors. Build leadership pipelines and implement high-impact leadership development programs. Enhance talent acquisition strategies for executive, manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, sales, and corporate functions. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and high performance. Partner closely with Operations leadership to strengthen frontline leadership capabilities across manufacturing facilities. Support workforce planning initiatives to attract, develop, and retain skilled labor. Reinforce organizational commitments to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Provide executive oversight for: Human Resources Talent Acquisition Organizational Development Leadership Development Employee Relations
Compensation & Benefits: HRISPayroll Compliance Requirements Include Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required. Master's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred. Experience 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience. Previous experience as a Chief People Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, Vice President of Human Resources, or equivalent executive leadership role. Extensive experience supporting private equity-backed portfolio companies. Proven partnership with CEOs, executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, and private equity sponsors. Demonstrated success leading organizations through rapid growth, acquisitions, and organizational transformation. Multi-site industrial manufacturing experience required. Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, operations, and corporate business functions. Certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent professional HR certification preferred. Additional executive leadership or organizational development certifications are a plus. Knowledge Human Resources best practices and employment law. Private equity operating environments and value creation strategies. Industrial manufacturing operations and workforce dynamics. Organizational effectiveness and change management methodologies. Executive compensation and performance management. HRIS systems, payroll administration, and compliance requirements. Talent management, succession planning, and leadership development. Acquisition integration and organizational transformation.
