About the role
To support the sales team, the remote Licensed Annuity Sales Development Rep will engage with prospective customers to qualify leads and set appointments for full-time Annuity Sales Representatives, while providing basic education on annuity products.
Key responsibilities
Engage inbound and outbound leads via calls, email, and SMS to qualify interest in annuity products
Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects' financial situations and goals
Set qualified appointments for licensed Annuity Sales Representatives and manage a pipeline of leads through CRM
Required qualifications
Active state life insurance license required at time of hire
1 year of sales or telesales experience; prior insurance experience is a plus
Strong verbal communication skills, comfortable discussing financial products
Coachable and eager to grow into a closing sales role
Working knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred
