About the role
Job Description:
The Inventory Control Associate supports inventory accuracy and operational efficiency within a distribution center. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role manages inventory activities through regular warehouse movement, frequent lifting and material handling, and a balance of administrative and physical duties. This position offers an advancement path toward Warehouse Operations Lead.
Responsibilities:
Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate receiving activities and verify incoming inventory.
Support accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Conduct warehouse audits and identify inventory discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain inventory reports.
Use barcode scanning and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
Lift, move, and handle materials throughout the distribution center.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in inventory control.
Associate degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency with barcode scanning and inventory auditing.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
