About the role

Ophthalmic Scribes This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. Ophthalmic Scribes play a key role in supporting our providers and patients. You'll accompany physicians during exams, document real-time patient interactions, and assist with testing and procedures.
What You'll Do: Prepare patient charts/EMRs and exam rooms Accurately document physician-patient interactions Track orders, prescriptions, and testing Perform ophthalmic testing & work up (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, VF, etc.)Educate patients on procedures, testing, and prescriptions Audit charts for accuracy Provide exceptional patient care and service
What We're Looking For: Strong verbal and written communication skills Outgoing, dependable, and service-oriented Calm under pressure, adaptable to change Positive team player with a can-do attitude Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus (not required)Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
