About the role
- Report to and support the Womens Design Director in the creation of product
- Initiate designs beginning with thorough research and inspirational images
- Understanding of garment washing and garment dyeing is preferred.
- Experience in technical outerwear garment is appreciated.
- Work closely with other members of the design team to develop cohesive seasonal product grouping
- Hand sketch initial ideas, and computer sketch final ideas
- Creation of technical packages
- Communicate and collaborate with Raw Materials, Tech teams, and Production teams to ensure optimal product development
- Collaborate with Merchandising partners to build a seasonal knowledge of strong successful and ownable Everlane designs and apply this knowledge when designing future products to drive the business forward
- Assist with the preparation of presentations for milestone meetings
- We'd love to hear from you if you have:5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Technical knowledge of wovens construction, both casual and simple tailored
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or closely related design field AI, Illustrator and Miro application experience
- The desire to work on a collaborative and diverse team that is dedicated to doing good for the planet and the consumer
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a solution-oriented approach to challenges
