About the Role: You'll be the main point of contact for your clients through their whole compliance lifecycle, from onboarding and tax data mapping to renewals and expansion. You'll work closely with our partner teams, internal tax specialists and product. Success means your clients are compliant, confident, and speak up for Taxually across our customer and partner ecosystems.
What you'll do: Own a portfolio of accounts and build trusted advisor relationships with finance leads, tax teams and C-suite stakeholders- Run regular client check-ins and lead onboarding sessions for a smooth handoff from sales- Help clients map their transaction data to our platform: revenue streams, product types, tax codes- Guide clients through VAT, US sales tax (economic nexus, marketplace facilitator rules) and GST/PST setup- Support clients through filing periods, spot discrepancies and coordinate fixes with our tax team- Track account health, prevent churn, manage renewals and find upsell opportunities (new jurisdictions, expanded filing coverage)- Attend client sites, events and industry conferences (5-10% travel)
What you bring: 2+ years in account management, customer success or tax compliance, ideally in SaaS, fintech or professional services- Working knowledge of indirect tax (VAT, US sales tax or GST/PST). You don't need to be a tax lawyer, but you should be comfortable discussing compliance with clients- Experience managing multiple client relationships at once, with strong prioritisation- Confident on video calls, clear in writing, able to explain tax in plain language- Comfortable with data: mapping transaction records, reviewing reports, spotting anomalies- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment with high autonomy Nice to have- Familiarity with the tax challenges of digital goods, SaaS or marketplace business models- Experience with HubSpot, Freshdesk or similar tools- Multilingual skills
