Administrative Secretary High school diploma or GED. Three years of secretarial or related word processing experience are required. The Administrative Secretary provides advanced administrative and secretarial support to a division director or executive official. Responsibilities include managing calendars and schedules, preparing correspondence and reports, coordinating meetings and activities, responding to inquiries, maintaining organized filing and recordkeeping systems, and performing other complex administrative and clerical functions. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple assignments. Employees may also coordinate or oversee the work of clerical staff and are expected to exercise discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information. Applicants will be subject to an extensive screening process to include background investigation, fingerprint check and polygraph examination.
